Stay in a Georgian house beside medieval Aros Castle. Aros Mains Apartment offers spacious self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Mull, with room for up to five guests on the upper floor of historic Aros Mains House. The Apartment is reached by one flight of stairs; there is no lift.
The house dates from the late eighteenth century and was built for James Maxwell, chamberlain to the Duke of Argyll.
With approximately 146 m² of space, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the Apartment gives families and friends room to relax. Enjoy a generous living room and an open-plan kitchen and dining room for meals together.
Just two miles north of Salen, the Apartment is around 100 metres from Aros Castle and 200 metres from the sea. Guests can enjoy the shared gardens and castle grounds, with coastal and woodland walks nearby.
Central heating, bed linen, towels and free WiFi are included. There is a Smart TV with Netflix, Prime and Freesat. The EV charger in the Apartment car park is shared by guests in all three properties. Charging is available at cost; please speak to us to arrange use. A car is recommended for exploring Mull.
A travel cot and highchair are available. A washing machine and indoor and outdoor clothes airers are available. There is no tumble dryer. The coffee maker is a cafetière.
We provide a small starter supply of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, refuse sacks, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and laundry tablets. Hand soap is also provided in the bathrooms.
